Senior Product Owner – Adobe AEM
Optomi, in partnership with an industry leading food distributor, is seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to join our team, focusing on driving the strategy, development, and execution of our digital marketing initiatives across various platforms. This role will work at the intersection of technology, marketing, and product management, overseeing the creation and optimization of personalized, data-driven customer experiences on our public-facing website, mobile applications, and marketing campaigns.
As a Senior Product Owner, you will have a strong presence within the business and act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, external partners, and development teams. You will lead product development in the Martech space, utilizing tools like Adobe AEM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Snowflake to drive the personalization and optimization of our digital properties. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Adobe AEM, with experience in digital marketing, data analytics, and personalization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the product roadmap for public-facing websites, mobile applications, and marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and marketing strategies.
- Act as the senior liaison between business stakeholders, marketing teams, and development teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and deliver on key product initiatives.
- Adobe AEM Expertise: Lead the integration and utilization of Adobe AEM for managing content and Adobe Target for personalization and campaign management across websites and mobile platforms.
- Leverage your experience with data platforms like Snowflake, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and other analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma) to guide product decisions based on customer insights and performance metrics.
- Oversee the creation and execution of personalized digital experiences and banner marketing campaigns, ensuring that they are optimized for customer engagement and conversion.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful delivery of product features, managing timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
- Product Backlog & User Stories: Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, write detailed user stories, and work with design and development teams to ensure successful feature delivery.
- Partner with design, UX/UI, and engineering teams to translate business needs into actionable product requirements, ensuring a seamless and integrated digital experience for customers.
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as a Product Owner space, with a focus on digital marketing, personalization, or customer experience.
- Adobe AEM Expertise: Proven experience with Adobe AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) and Adobe Target for content management and personalization.
- Strong understanding of data platforms like Snowflake, and experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud for campaign execution and customer data management.
- Expertise in developing and managing product roadmaps, writing user stories, and working with development teams to deliver high-quality digital products.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams. Experience working with third-party vendors and managing external relationships.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, campaign execution, and online personalization, with a focus on driving customer engagement and business results.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, results-oriented approach.
- Experience in promotions, marketing spaces, and advanced personalization techniques (preferred)
- Familiarity with other Adobe Experience Cloud products and marketing automation tools (preferred)
